Farnham Fireworks & Torchlit Procession – SOLD OUT!

Due to unprecedented demand, we have had to make the difficult decision to stop selling tickets for this year’s event. There are no tickets on sale online or on the gate.

We are very pleased to announce that the Farnham Fireworks & Torchlit Procession will be taking place on Saturday 6th November 2021. Tickets can be purchased in advance via the following link, or the locations listed below:

New Look

This year Farnham Park will be open from 5pm, with a new look Food Village for young families wanting to eat early. The Food Village will include Mossley and Bow fish and chips, wood fired pizza from Britaliano, Indian street food from Sprinkle of Saffron, Greek grill from YiaYia’s, a GnT and Prosecco bar, and coffee from the Coffee Can, amongst many others.

Entertainment will be laid on throughout the evening, starting at 5pm, including live music, Taiko youth drumming group, a compere from Frimley Hospital Radio, live band Late To The Party, and fire performers!

The Reading Pipers Band will lead the torchlit procession from Central Car Park, up Castle Street, and to the park entrance. Heading the procession will be the Mayor of Farnham, the Farnham Round Table Chairman, and local key workers (including teachers, medics, vaccine centre volunteers, emergency services, and their families).

Timeline

The Procession will leave Central Car Park at 6pm. Torches and glow novelties will be on sale in the car park.

Local schools will again enter our guy competition, which will be judged by the Mayor before the bonfire is lit at 7:15pm.

The fireworks display begins at 7:45pm, following a countdown led by local key workers.

Entry & Parking

Entry to the park is available via multiple entrances. Folly Hill pathway, main car park (Folly Hill), Bear Gate, Upper South View, Wyceham Road, Bells Piece.

Driving to the event is discouraged. Parking is available in Farnham car parks however Central and Wagon Yard car parks are best avoided due to restricted access.

Partnerships

Our event this year is being supported by ME Estate Agents and YiaYia’s at the Fox. Through this support we are offering 300 complimentary family tickets (distributed through a ballot scheme) to key worker staff from both Frimley and Royal Surrey Hospitals, and also from the 14 Farnham Schools we work with.

We are also very pleased to be supported again at the event by the Hogs Back Brewery, who will be providing ale, lager, and cider at their mobile bar.

Where to Buy

Digital tickets will be on sale via our website from Thursday 9th September. You will receive an email with a QR code which can be scanned on the gate on the night.

Paper tickets will be on sale throughout September and October at the ME Estate Agent offices on Castle Street, and at YiaYia’s, the Fox Pub, in The Bourne.

Paper tickets will also be on sale in town outside the ME Estate Agents offices, on The Borough (Bush Hotel entrance), and in Lion and Lamb Yard (West Street entrance) on Saturdays 30th October and 6th November.

On the night, cash only paper tickets will be sold in Central Car Park, and on the gates, as usual. You will also still be able to purchase digital tickets via our website on the night; if you need to use a debit or credit card.

Other Information

This is a community event organised by the Farnham Round Table (and 41 Club), supported by volunteers from Farnham schools, Scouts, Hedgehogs, Farnham Cricket Club, Bourne Blades Football Club, and Farnham Tangent.

All proceeds from the event will directly support local causes and our community. Tickets are a non-refundable donation to Farnham Round Table in aid of local causes within our community.

The organisers will not be liable for loss or damage to personal property.

For everyone’s safety do not bring fireworks to the event, including sparklers.
